Volvo Car Corporation is a Swedish automobile manufacturer founded in 1927, in Gothenburg, Sweden.   Although Volvo has been acquired and owned by various companies, the brand remains to be recognized as providing safe, dependable cars.  Over the years, Volvo has produced SUVs, station wagons, sedans and compact coupes.   To demonstrate changes in exterior, we thought it would be fun to share a couple of VERY old Volvo photos, and some new 2014 Models.

  • Worlds’ first Animal and pedestrian detection, even in darkness
  • Road edge and barrier detection with steer assist, even on roads without markings.
  • Car-to-car communication, transmit data to other vehicles in given radius
  • Autonomous parking, parks itself and finds parking spot
  • Adaptive cruise control with steer assist, automatically adjusts vehicle speed to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
